Photos of the Natick Mall (1994-2006)
These
pictures are from General
Growth's leasing website.
As you can
see from these photos, the design of the mall combined contemporary
shapes (as seen in the floors), curving ceilings, and neon accent
lighting with the half-wheel shaped structural supports and crown
molding that are more typical of a New England house. A number of
similarities can be seen in other malls built by Homart Development,
namely North
Point Mall in Alpharetta, GA; which opened one year prior in 1993,
and Brass
Mill Center in Waterbury, CT; which opened three years later in
1997.
